I'm experiencing loose motions and joint pain, and my tongue feels tasteless. I'm also feeling drowsy and really tired. Plus, my stomach has this crampy feeling. What could be causing all of this and what should I do about it?

The discoloration and swelling on your arm after a blood test are likely due to a hematoma (blood accumulation under the skin) or bruising. This is a common and temporary reaction, but if you experience:

  • Increasing pain or swelling
  • Redness or warmth around the area
  • Difficulty moving your arm

Seek medical attention to rule out any serious complications.

I'm feeling really uncomfortable with my stomach lately. It feels bloated and sometimes acidic, and I just have this heavy feeling in my stomach. It seems like my motions aren't complete, and I have constant gastric issues. Also, whenever I press my stomach with my hands, I start to burp. What could be causing this, and should I be worried about it?

I'm dealing with jaundice and I'm a bit concerned. My total bilirubin level was 4.1 mgdl about 20 days ago, and now it's down to 0.89 mgdl according to today's report. Does this mean everything's fine now? My urine and the whites of my eyes still don't look normal. What should I do at this point, and is there a specific diet chart I should follow?

don't worry it takes time to come to normal

I'm pretty confused about my liver test results. My GGT level came back at 58. Does anyone know what that actually means? Is it considered normal, or should I be worried about it? Any insights would be really appreciated.

High levels of GGT in the blood could indicate that the enzyme is leaking out of the liver cells and into the blood. This may suggest that there is damage to the liver or bile ducts. GGT levels above 30 IUL in adults could indicate liver problems. High GGT levels can be caused by a number of conditions, including: Overuse of alcohol Chronic viral hepatitis Lack of blood flow to the liver Liver tumor Cirrhosis, or scarred liver Overuse of certain drugs or other toxins Heart failure Diabetes Pancreatitis Fatty liver disease so consult gastroenterologist for the same
