I've been having some pain that's really bothering me, and I can't figure out if it's something serious. I'm 33, female, about 165 cm tall, and weigh 64 kg. Recently, I've been dealing with chest and upper back pain. It's weird because I feel really sharp pain when I lie down, but when I'm sitting up straight or walking, I don't notice it at all. It almost feels like there's something stuck in my throat, and when I swallow my saliva, the pain shoots to the center of my chest and then over to the right side and into my upper back. I also end up burping a lot and have the urge to pass stools when this pain kicks in. If I pay close attention, it seems like the pain starts on my back's right side and radiates to my chest. Is this something related to my heart?

It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), rather than a heart-related issue. The sensation of something stuck in your throat, pain when swallowing saliva, chest pain that radiates to the right side, upper back pain, and frequent burping are all common symptoms of acid reflux. I recommend trying over-the-counter antacids such as Tums or Rolaids to help alleviate your symptoms. You can also try lifestyle modifications such as avoiding trigger foods (spicy, acidic, fatty foods), eating smaller meals, avoiding lying down immediately after eating, and raising the head of your bed. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it would be best to consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I'm dealing with this problem where every time I have a bowel movement, it always feels like I'm not done. It's like, I eat or drink something, and then I immediately feel like I have to go to the bathroom again. The stools are really mushy, sometimes thin, and not in that regular bulk shape. Plus, they come with this burning sensation when passing through. I've tried taking ofloxacin oridazole tablets, and that seems to stop these frequent bathroom trips for a bit. Also, I get cramps under my left rib cage, kind of where my stomach is, and I tend to burp after eating or even just drinking water. Could you help me figure out what's going on with my body?

After a rat bite, it's essential to complete the full post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) regimen. Typically, the regimen includes: 1. Immediate washing of the wound 2. TT (Tetanus Toxoid) injection 3. Anti-rabies vaccination series (usually 2-3 doses, depending on the vaccine type) Consult your doctor or the healthcare provider who administered the initial injections. They will assess the situation and advise on the need for additional anti-rabies injections.

Can you recommend a good probiotic tablet for me and let me know how long I should take it? My doctor suggested I take rifagut 200mg, but I forgot to ask for how many days I should be on it. Could you let me know the duration and dosage guidance?

Culturelle Daily Probiotic (contains Lactobacillus GG) Align Probiotic (contains Bifidobacterium 35624) Florastor Probiotic (contains Saccharomyces boulardii) The duration of probiotic use can vary, but many people take them daily for 1-2 weeks to support gut health, and some may continue longer, depending on their needs. I'm experiencing some discomfort under my right rib, and it's been getting worse over the past month, especially when I'm sitting or lying down. I've been going to the gym regularly, but I'm not sure if that's related. Who should I consult about this?
