I'm experiencing some pain and swelling right in front of my tragus, kind of towards my face. I've tried using an ear wax and infection solution, but it's not helping. Also, I'm having these small feverish spells. What could this be, and what should I do?

Could indicate an infection in the ear or surrounding area. I recommend you use an antibiotic ear drop like Ciprodex (ciprofloxacindexamethasone) to help with the infection. Additionally, you can take ibuprofen for pain and fever relief. However, it is important to see a doctor for a proper evaluation and treatment plan.

If your child is frequently snoring and getting colds, it may be due to enlarged adenoids or tonsils. Consult an ENT specialist to assess whether surgery (like adenoidectomy or tonsillectomy) is needed.

I've been diagnosed with mild eardrum retraction in my left ear, and my PTA impedance test showed an A-type graph in tympanometry. Will this resolve on its own with medication, or is surgery usually needed? How long does it typically take to heal?

My son has been dealing with a cold for about 3 months now, and I'm really worried about why it's not getting better. Even after trying different medicines, nothing seems to work. We finally saw a homeopathic doctor, and they mentioned it could be due to adenoids. Ive never heard of adenoids beforecan you explain what they are and how they might be causing these cold symptoms? Is there a reliable way to treat this issue? I'm just looking for some guidance on what to do next.
