I'm experiencing some shortness of breath, but I don't have a fever or a persistent cough, although I do get some mucus when I do cough sometimes. I'm pretty worried about what's going on, and I'm wondering what a chest X-ray might reveal about my condition. Could you give me some advice or insights on what I should do next?

I'm a bit worried because I had a chest X-ray on May 20, which was all clear. But then another X-ray on July 1 showed tenting of the left hemi diaphragm. Can someone explain what this means and if I should be concerned? I was COVID positive on April 9, and I haven't been vaccinated yet. I'm having a really hard time breathing normally. I used to smoke regularly, but I've quit that habit recently. Now, when I breathe, it feels like the muscles on the left side of my chest are stretching, and I can't seem to breathe properly. I've also stopped drinking alcohol, which I did before. One side of my nose seems to work okay, but the other side doesn't. Could this be related to quitting smoking or something else?
