I'm experiencing some swelling in my feet and kidneys, and my blood test came back showing slightly higher uric acid levels with an ESR of 40. Could you help me understand what these results might mean? I'm a bit worried about what could be causing this.

I've been dealing with gout and high uric acid for about six months now. I've been taking LOGOUTSR 250mg three times a day after meals. There's been a shortage of this medication, so I'm a bit concerned and wondering if you could suggest an alternative for me. Any advice on what I can do would really help.

I've been dealing with lower back pain and taking homeopathy medicine, but now I've got a new issue. About 45 minutes after I fall asleep, I get this intense pain that spreads through my entire back on both sides of my spinal cord, and it becomes impossible to find a comfortable angle to sleep. Then, in the morning, the pain in my spinal cord is really bad, but it eases up after 10 or 15 minutes, and I'm back to my usual lower back pain. What can I do to get some relief and finally get a good night's sleep?

I'm a bit concerned about my health. Recently, I noticed my folic acid levels are over 20, and I used to have high HDL but it's under control now. However, I'm experiencing some numbness in my joints. Could there be a connection between these things? Should I be worried?

Large amounts of folic acid can mask the damaging effects of vitamin B12 deficiency . There are indications that high serum folate levels might not only mask vitamin B12 deficiency, but could also exacerbate the anemia and worsen the cognitive symptoms and neurological symptoms associated with vitamin B12 deficiency. Low levels of B12 can cause numbness and tingling sensation, paresthesia(neuropathies). If B12 levels are normal then you need to orthopedician to look for bone disorders.
