I'm feeling under the weather with a cold and I'm thinking about trying turmeric steam to help. But I'm a bit worriedcould doing this actually cause my hair to turn white? I've heard things about turmeric and just want to be sure before trying. What do you think?

I often find that when I take medication for colds, I end up dealing with a cough afterwards. Is there a cold medicine that doesn't lead to coughing?
Some cold medications can exacerbate coughing. Look for cold medicines that are labeled as "non-drowsy" or "cough-suppressing." Here are some options: - Medications with acetaminophen (Tylenol) and dextromethorphan (Robitussin) can help alleviate cold symptoms without exacerbating cough. - Medications with diphenhydramine (Benadryl) can also provide relief from cold symptoms and may help suppress cough.

I'm really worried because my roommate just caught chicken pox while riding the metro, and I'm trying everything to not catch it too. I'm staying away from him and keeping his things separate. But since we're sharing the same room, is there still a chance I could end up getting infected?
Yes ,isolation is advised to the patient.
