Elongation of uvula usually occurs secondary to chronic irritation which can be caused by reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder or recurrent injuries caused by irritants such as smoking and alcohol. Treatment of the primary problem is necessary

I'm really worried because for almost two years now, it feels like a lot of mucus is just building up in my mouth and throat, and it's like I constantly have to clear my throat.
