I'm having a lot of pain in my right ear because of a cold, but it doesn't feel like it's clogged or anything. My ears look normal but the pain is still there. What could be causing this pain?

it can be acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection you can use antibiotic and pain killers and antibiotic consult ent specialist for the same
