I'm a bit worried because I've been having some pain and swelling on the right side of my neck where a lymph node is located. I went for an FNAC test, and the report says there's a right submandibular swelling, but the stain for AFB is negative. The findings mentioned something about a necrotizing granulomatous lesion. I'm really anxious about what this means. Could you help me understand this condition a bit better and let me know if it's something I could pass on to others?

View allCan you help me figure out how effective adenoid surgery is for kids, both in the short term and long term? And is it true that once the adenoids are removed, they won't grow back? I'm really curious about this.
Adenoid surgery can provide both short-term and long-term benefits for children, especially in terms of relieving chronic nasal and ear problems. It's very unlikely that the adenoids will grow back to the same size after surgery. Most children experience significant and sustained improvements, but if any symptoms return, it would likely be due to other underlying issues, not the regrowth of the adenoids.
