I'm having this persistent pain on the left side of my throat that started last May. I had an endoscopy, but nothing showed up. The pain eased for a while, but now it's back. It's really painful under my tongue, especially deep on the left side, almost like a sore. The rest of my tongue feels fine. I'm kind of worried and just need to understand what might be going on. Can you help me figure this out?

A lump between the ear and jaw can be concerning!
Given your age and symptoms, possible causes include:
- Lymphadenitis: Inflamed lymph nodes due to infection (e.g., ear, throat, or dental issues).
- Parotid gland swelling: Inflammation of the parotid gland, which can be caused by infection, blockage, or trauma.
- Abscess or cyst: A collection of pus or fluid that can cause pain and swelling.
It's essential to consult a doctor, preferably an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist, for a proper evaluation and diagnosis. They may recommend:
- Physical examination
- Imaging tests (e.g., ultrasound, CT scan)
- Blood tests to check for infection or inflammation
In the meantime, apply warm compresses to the area to help reduce pain and discomfort.

View allI've been dealing with a severe congested nose and a persistent cough for about a week now, and even though I'm on medicine for the cough, there's no fever. My nose is completely blocked, I have sinus pain, and I'm experiencing a head cold as well. But what really worries me is this new bubble-like sound I hear when I breathe out, especially if I'm lying down. Is this strange noise a typical side effect of having a congested nose and sinus issues? Ive always managed to get over colds and coughs pretty quickly before, so this is new for me. Is it something I should be really concerned about?
yes the sound is because of nasal congestion , just take steam inhalation

I'm dealing with something really concerning and would love some advice. Whenever I get super stressed, like genuinely overwhelmed to the point of crying, my throat and tonsils start swelling up. It's like I'm right on the brink of an infection, and within a few days, I'm usually stuck going to the hospital for antibiotics. It just becomes so difficult to breathe, and the swelling never seems to subside, no matter how much I try to rest. It really feels almost exactly like strep throat, but it only happens after really stressful or traumatic events. What can I do to prevent this from happening?
Tonsils do not get increased in size usually because of stress. As per ur description of ur condition in your age is because of chronic tonsilitis. A short course of antibiotics will help the acute exacerbation, but Tonsillectomy would be the final answer to end this repeated infections.
