I'm having some neck and shoulder pain and got an ECG done. The results mentioned something called "middling left axis deviation." Can you explain what this might mean?

Due to neck and shoulders pain, the ECG showing middling left axis deviation may indicate a possible heart condition. It is recommended to consult a cardiologist for further evaluation and management. In the meantime, you can take Acetaminophen 500mg every 6 hours as needed for pain relief.

View allI'm having this chest pain on the left side about 30 to 40 minutes after falling asleep, and it even comes with a bit of sweating. Once it starts, I can't find a comfortable position to sleep in without it hurting, so I've been sleeping in an easy chair for the past five days. I started taking Tonact TG for my high cholesterol, which is 290. I'm also on Thyronorm 75 and Telmisartan 40. My TSH levels and blood pressure are normal. Should I be worried about this chest pain and what should I do about it?
It sounds like you're experiencing discomfort that could be related to a few different factors, including your cholesterol and medications. Since the pain is persistent and affects your sleep, it's important to follow up with your doctor to rule out any heart-related issues and ensure the medications are working well for you. If the pain persists, consider an evaluation for possible musculoskeletal causes or other conditions that might be contributing.

I've been having sweating and breathlessness when going up the stairs, and there's some numbness in my palm along with a light pain in my chest. I talked to a cardiologist who's pretty experienced, and after checking out my echo report, they've suggested I get an angiography. I'm really unsure about whether I should go through with it. Could you give me some advice on this? I would really appreciate a quick response.
Based on your symptoms and the recommendation of your cardiologist, undergoing angiography would be important to assess the condition of your heart vessels. This procedure can provide detailed information about any blockages or narrowing in the arteries supplying your heart. It will help in determining the best course of treatment for your condition. Please follow your cardiologist's advice and proceed with the angiography as recommended.
