I'm having a tough time with an anal fissure over the past few days and its really painful, especially during bowel movements. Are there any home remedies or tips to help ease the pain? Looking for any advice to make things a bit more manageable.

View allMy dad is 50 and has a 16mm gallstone. Can it be treated without surgery or does he need an operation?
A 16mm gallstone may require surgery, especially if it's causing symptoms or complications. However, nonsurgical options are sometimes available, depending on the individual's health and the specific situation. Surgery, like laparoscopic cholecystectomy, is often the preferred treatment for gallstones, but non-surgical methods like medications or shock wave lithotripsy may be considered in certain cases

I've been told I have a gallstone just one, around 4.9mm. Can homeopathy actually help dissolve it, or is surgery my only option? I'm a bit worried about what to do next.
Actigall (Ursodiol) is the primary drug used to dissolve gallstones. It is a naturally-occurring bile acid. This drug has almost no side effects but can rarely lead to increases in cholesterol or diarrhea. This is in marked contrast to other drugs which have been used in the past.

I'm really concerned about my husband. He went for a sonography because of his stomach pain, and they found something else too. His report says his liver size is normal, but there's an increased echo pattern mentioned. He also has high blood pressure, but he doesn't drink alcohol. I'm worried about what this could mean and how it might develop. Is it something serious?
no
