I'm just curious about something and a bit worried. Is it possible for a condition like asthma, which has been pretty much under control, to start acting up after getting a COVID vaccine? I've heard some stories and just want to know if there's anything to that.

My friend has been dealing with this annoying barking cough for a while now. She's already on cough syrup and doing saltwater gargles, but nothing seems to help. I'm really worried about my mom. She seems to have some sort of lung issue because she's feeling fatigued a lot and has trouble breathing even just walking short distances or using the stairs. She had pleural effusion about three years ago, and now the symptoms seem to be coming back. Can you suggest what tests she should get to figure out what's going on?

Sputum for AFB,microscopy and x-ray chest is advised to the patient.
