I'm noticing some black spots in the phlegm that I'm coughing up. Could you help me understand what this might mean? I'm a bit concerned.

The presence of black spots in phlegm from your mouth could be due to various reasons, including fungal infections like oral thrush, poor oral hygiene, or inhalation of pollutants; however, it may also indicate more serious conditions like bronchitis, pneumonia, or lung abscess, so it's essential to consult a doctor or a pulmonologist for a proper evaluation and diagnosis to determine the underlying cause.

View allI'm a bit concerned and curious about the recent chest X-ray report for a loved one who had COVID-19 about a month ago. It mentions bilateral scanty infiltrations of mixed nature with some irregular breakdowns, gross bronchial catarrh, and prominent bronchovascular markings. It also says the hilar shadow is heavy, the heart shadow is normal, and the left costophrenic angle is slightly blurred. Should I be worried about these findings, or is this normal as someone recovers from COVID-19?
Normal, nothing to worry ok.

Sir, my X-ray came back normal, but my doctor mentioned asthma even though I've never had it before. I'm feeling breathless while sleeping. Could this really be asthma or something else? I've attached my file for you to have a look.

I'm really worried about my father's CO2 level, which is at 85 in his blood. He's currently in the ICU at IGIMS Patna. Can anyone advise on how we might be able to lower it? Is it possible to reduce his CO2 level while he's there?
Physician opinion is advised to the patient.
