I'm kind of worried about a small wound on my finger. I'm not sure if it's from my dog biting or scratching me while we were playing. I even saw a little blood near my dog's nose, which made me start thinking. I read online that rabies symptoms can take 2-3 weeks to show up. Should I be concerned about rabies or get it checked by a doctor?

Since you are unsure if it was a dog bite or scratch, it's important to clean the wound thoroughly with soap and water. To be safe, you should consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and possible rabies vaccination. In the meantime, you can take a tetanus shot to prevent any infection from developing.

I was cleaning my kitchen today and ended up cutting myself on some window glass. I've applied Dettol, but I'm worried about whether I should get a tetanus shot. Could you advise if it's necessary in this situation?

I'm worried about my friend's health. He's had a fever for two days, and his SGPT level is 69.0 while other test results are normal. The doctor prescribed him Ziprax 100. Do you think he needs to get any additional tests done?
Ziprax 100 might be appropriate for bacterial infections, but if fever persists or worsens, it is important to do further tests to rule out any serious underlying conditions, particularly related to the liver.
