I'm noticing that every month my eyes get red and itchy, but it's weird because it happens to only one eye at a time. If it's my right eye this month, then it's the left one the next month. I don't have any vision problems, but it usually happens close to my period. I've seen the doctor a few times and while the issue gets better with the prescribed stuff like Refresh Tears and Ketorolac Tromethamine ophthalmic solution, it keeps coming back. Do you know of any permanent solution for this?

I've been struggling with eye pain since the covid year. I spoke with a nurse at the eye hospital who suggested wearing glasses because of my low power of 0.25, but the pain persisted. I can't tolerate bright lights or work on my laptop, especially at night. About six months ago, an eye clinic diagnosed me with a severe eye allergy. I've been on medication courses for 3 weeks, then 2 months, and another 2 months. The pain eases with the meds, but it returns once I stop. Currently, I'm back on a 2-month course taking FLI drops, UV lube, and sodium hyaluronate XL HA, but the pain keeps coming back. Is there any chance this eye allergy can be permanently resolved, or will I have to keep taking these meds non-stop? Should I consider seeing another doctor for a second opinion?

I've been dealing with this weird issue where my left eye starts itching in the evening, like after 6 pm, and it goes on until I fall asleep. It's been happening for the past five days, but it's fine during the day. I'm not sure what's causing it or if I should be worried. Could it be something serious or just a minor irritation that will go away on its own? Any advice or thoughts on what might be going on?
