I'm noticing a weird sound in my throat whenever I drink something, and my left ear seems a bit off too. There's no pain, but it feels like there's something on the left side of my throat. What could be causing this? Should I be worried?

View allI'm a bit worried because I sneezed this morning and felt something happen in my ear. It wasn't too painful at first, but now the pain has become unbearable tonight. I tried steaming, which made me feel a bit better, but the pain came back. Can you help me figure out what's going on with my ear?
It would be advisable to consult an ENT doctor in this situation. There could have been a perforation of the tympanic membrane (ear drum). There is also a possibility of impacted wax having been dislodged due to the sneeze and causing pain thereafter.

I've been dealing with chronic recurrent sinusitis that causes constant nose blockage, throat congestion, and occasional mild cough. It only gets better once all the mucus drains, but sometimes it takes weeks or even over a month to clear. I've tried Montecope, Sinarest syrup, and Allegra 120 without much relief. Steam inhalation helps a bit, but I really don't want to go for surgery. What else can I do to manage this chronic sinus issue?
To better manage your chronic sinusitis, consider implementing a more comprehensive approach. Focus on keeping sinuses moist, reducing inflammation, and addressing potential underlying causes. If symptoms persist, consider consulting an ENT specialist.

I'm having this annoying throat pain, and my doctor prescribed Augmentin 625. Do you think it'll help with the pain I feel when swallowing?
Augmentin 625, a combination antibiotic of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid, can help cure throat pain caused by bacterial infections such as strep throat, but if your throat pain persists or worsens, consult your doctor to rule out other causes, such as viral infections or other conditions.
