I'm only 52 inches tall and feel really frustrated because everyone in my family is taller than me, even my siblings. I have bow legs (genu varum) which makes me look even shorter. Are there any treatments like growth hormones or surgery that could help me grow taller? How much would they cost? I'm struggling with this so much that it's affecting my mental health who should I consult for help?

At 52 inches with genu varum, limb lengthening or correction can help—consult ortho/plastic surgeon.

I'm worried about my chondromalacia diagnosis from a few years ago. I sometimes didn't stick to the doctor's advice about not jumping, running, or folding my knees, and now Im experiencing knee pain whenever I put stress on them. I recently started karate classes that involve a lot of those activities. Is there anything youd recommend I do to manage the pain and keep my knees in good shape while still attending classes?

As advised by the physician , avoid running, exercises ,folding knees, jogging since you are prone to fractures .

I've had knee pain for about a year now and just got my MRI results. It shows a Grade 2 signal in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus, minimal joint effusion, and a Baker's cyst measuring 1.8x1.5x2.9 cm. Is surgery necessary or can proper exercises help heal this?

It's unlikely that surgery is immediately necessary for your knee pain, given the MRI findings. While the Grade 2 meniscus tear, minimal effusion, and Baker's cyst are potential sources of pain, conservative treatments like physical therapy and pain management are often effective, especially with these findings. Surgery is generally considered when conservative treatments fail or if the tear is severe and causing significant functional limitations.

6 weeks post ACL surgery and my physiotherapist keeps forcefully bending my knee during home visits, causing intense pain. He increases the bend every day with more pressure and also compresses my knee while elevating my leg from the ankle. Is this normal or is he being too aggressive with the recovery process?

Pain from physio should be tolerable; forceful passive bending early on may harm—consider a second opinion.
