I'm wondering if it's really necessary to have a POP for an air crack in my left hand. They used a plaster of Paris bandage on it, but I'm not in much pain. Do you think just a roll bandage would be enough?

View allI had ACL surgery 3 months ago but still feel shaky on the MCL side when walking - my doctor says it's common after surgery but I'm worried. Are there any effective Ayurvedic treatments to strengthen the ligaments and improve stability?
While your doctor's assessment of feeling "shaky" after ACL surgery is valid, it's crucial to address any lingering concerns. Ayurvedic approaches can be beneficial for strengthening ligaments and promoting stability, but it's essential to consult with your doctor and a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before incorporating these treatments. My 82-year-old parent has been advised to get shoulder surgery but they also have diastolic dysfunction should we be worried about the risks during surgery
Yes, the presence of diastolic dysfunction in an 82-year-old parent undergoing shoulder surgery warrants a discussion with the surgeon and anesthesiologist about potential risks. Diastolic dysfunction, where the heart's ventricles don't properly relax and fill with blood, can increase the risk of complications during and after surgery, particularly related to cardiac health.
