I'm pretty sure I've got balanitis and I'm wondering if it will clear up on its own. What should I do to treat it? I'm dealing with a lot of inflammation and itching. Any tips or medicines you could recommend?

Balanitis can be uncomfortable, but it's treatable. Here's what you can do:
Self-Care
- Keep the area clean: Wash with mild soap and lukewarm water.
- Avoid irritants: Steer clear of harsh soaps, bubble baths, and tight clothing.
- Pat dry: Gently pat the area dry, rather than rubbing.
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications
- Hydrocortisone cream: Reduces inflammation and itching.
- Antifungal creams: If the cause is fungal (e.g., candida), use an antifungal cream like clotrimazole.
Prescription Medications (if necessary)
- Antibiotics: If the cause is bacterial.
- Steroid creams:

View allI've got quite a few holes on my face from acne. What are some effective creams or treatments to help remove them?
Acne scars can be treated with topical creams containing ingredients like retinoids, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid. You can try using a cream like Mederma Advanced Scar Gel, applying it to the affected areas twice a day. Additionally, you can use a cream with hydroquinone, such as Ambi Skincare Fade Cream, to help lighten any dark spots left by acne. Remember to apply sunscreen during the day to protect your skin.

I've been dealing with multiple sebaceous cysts on my scrotum that cause a lot of itching and discomfort. Is there any way to treat them without surgery? If so, what options do I have for managing this?
Sebaceous cysts on scrotum need hygiene and topical antibiotics; if recurrent or infected, minor surgical excision is definitive.

My sister has vitiligo with visible spots on her hands and legs, plus other areas. Her marriage is coming up, and the groom's family wants to see her hands and feet. Are there any temporary ways to hide the spots without using cosmetics since they don't work well? We have around 78 months before the wedding would surgery be an option, or is there a quicker fix?
For temporary spot concealment without cosmetics, consider covering the areas with long sleeves and pants, or use light-colored, opaque scarves or shawls. With 78 months until the wedding, surgery like skin grafting might be an option, but it's not a quick fix. Light therapy, often used in conjunction with other treatments, could be considered.
