I'm really anxious about septoplasty surgery and the idea of packing scares me because I can't breathe through my mouth. Is it possible to have the procedure without packing? Comfort is really important to me and I'm willing to pay extra for that. How do surgeons usually handle cases like mine?

View allI'm really worried about my brother. He was sleeping, and suddenly woke up with a sore throat. When he tried to cough, blood started coming out and it wouldn't stop for over an hour. It was pretty scary. Then, the same thing happened again after a week. What could be causing this, and should we be concerned?

I'm experiencing this weird sensation where it feels like air is going through my right ear, but only when I'm at home in Bangalore. It's been happening for around 9 months, and recently I've started feeling dizzy, mostly in the evenings. It doesn't happen if I travel to other places, so I'm curious if this is something I should be worried about. What could be causing this?

I've been feeling this mild pain on the left side of my throat, but only when I yawn. It's weird because swallowing food doesn't hurt at all. This has been happening on and off for the past week. The pain seems to be on the outside rather than inside my throat, and there's no swelling that I can see. What could this be? Is there something I should be worried about?
Could be due to muscle strain or irritation. Since you do not experience pain while swallowing food and there is no swelling in your throat, it is less likely to be an infection. You can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil) to help with the discomfort. Additionally, you can try using throat lozenges or gargling with warm salt water to soothe the area. If the pain persists or worsens, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.
