The FNAC report suggests excision biopsy for possible papillary carcinoma, but my thyroid is enlarged with normal T3/T4 and TSH at 5.02 which is almost at the upper limit. Is thyroidectomy absolutely necessary or are there other treatment options to shrink these nodules without surgery?
