I'm really concerned about my health. I've been a chain smoker for 30 years but quit 15 years ago. I also have diabetes and hypertension. Back in 2002, I was treated for empyema and TB and had aspirations done. Recently, they did a CT scan and found some bronchiectatic changes and mucus plugging, along with tree-in-bud opacities in the right lower lobe. There's also some linear atelectasis in the lingual area and a few small lymph nodes, but no significant pleural thickening or fluid collection. I've been getting this intermittent dry cough with chest pain and dizziness when I cough. An ultrasound showed a few hyperechogenicities in my right lung. My appetite seems normal and there's no noticeable weight change. Should I be worried about these findings, and what could they possibly mean for my overall health?

View allI've got pleural effusion in both lungs, but it's more serious on the right side. Ever since February 5th, I've had a bit of chest pain on the right side. They diagnosed me with TB on March 5th, and since then, I've been on ATT and later switched to the DOTS program on March 15th. They even drew out 250ml of fluid from my right lung on March 5th. My chest X-ray looked fine on March 1st, probably because there wasn't much fluid, but the one from April 1st shows my lower and middle lung lobes as kind of blurry or like they're collapsing. I've attached the X-ray. Is it normal for things to look worse after starting ATT? Should I be doing something specific or take extra precautions? Also, my breathing has gotten worse. I'm getting plenty of rest and eating a high-protein diet, but I'm really concerned. What should I do?
after att medication, it won't become normal immediately . It takes time for chest xray to be normal.

I'm really worried because I've had a severe cough for the last five days. I'm taking Micef 200, Dolo 650, Dexona, Monticope, and MagnatussA syrup for it. In the mornings, I really have to cough hard to get any phlegm out, and it comes out red at first, then turns light green. Is that normal or something I should be more concerned about? Also, I'm experiencing a lot of headaches and body pain because of the coughing. What should I do?
