I'm really concerned about my uncle - he's in the hospital and I was told his lungs are finished. Is that something that can actually happen or am I missing something? He's unable to talk or do much of anything. He also has TB and HIV, so I'm wondering how that affects things. Can you help me understand what's going on with him?

View allI'm really worried about my mom's lymph nodes TB treatment. I went to two different private hospitals and got two kinds of prescriptions. One doctor told me to give her Akurit 4, two tablets a day, and the other suggested AKT 4. Her weight is 63 kg, and I've read that TB medicine doses depend on weight. When I looked into it, it seems like AKT 4 suits her weight better than Akurit 4, which seems too low. Now I'm confused about which one would be more effective. Should I consider going to a government hospital for DOTS treatment instead? Is DOTS better, or should we stick with private care? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm having some issues at night that have been really concerning me. I keep waking up in the middle of my sleep, feeling breathless and coughing a lot. It's like I can't breathe properly for about half an hour, but then everything goes back to normal, and I can sleep again. I've noticed there's this weird whistling sound coming from my nose when I'm breathing during that time. People have told me I snore really loudly, which gets interrupted by my coughing fits. I went to a general physician before and was on some tablets for a month which seemed to help, but now the problem is back. I'm wondering if I should see a chest specialist. What could be causing all this?

I'm 27 now and when I was just 6 months old, I had TB and went through a 9-month antibiotic treatment and got better. But now I'm really worried that the TB might come back. Do you think it's possible for TB to reoccur after all these years? Any advice would be really helpful.
