I'm really concerned about my wife. For the last 23 days, she's had this red rash with a black spot on her hand. It doesnt seem to itch until she actually starts scratching it. It's odd because it's only on one hand. I've attached a photo. Could someone help me figure out what this might be?

It appears that your wife may be experiencing a contact dermatitis with a secondary infection. I recommend using an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin to prevent further infection. Additionally, she can take an antihistamine like Benadryl to help with any itching. Make sure to clean the area gently with mild soap and water before applying the ointment. If the rash persists or worsens, please consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment.

View allI'm a little worried about switching from isotretinoin capsules to tablets. My dermatologist started me on a 5-month isotretinoin course for moderate to severe acne, and I've been using Saferet 20 mg capsules for 2 months now. But my pharmacist now only has Saferet 20 mg in tablet form. Is there any difference between taking isotretinoin as capsules or tablets? Which one is more effective or better for me? Would love some guidance on this.
Clinsol gel for local application is advised for 3-6 weeks.
