I'm really concerned about my wife's health. She's been diagnosed with a Vitamin D deficiency at 8.5, and the doctor recommended Calcirol 60K once a week. I'm wondering if she could take D-Rise 60K capsules instead of the Calcirol powder. Also, if the powder is the better option, what would be the ideal time for her to take it? And can she take it with warm water? I'm eager to know.

View allCould you tell me how often I should take the Calcirol sachet for Vitamin D? Is it supposed to be once a week? And for how long should I continue before stopping or taking a break? I'm wondering if there's a specific cycle or schedule I should follow.
It depends on how much is your vitamin d3 levels. Mostly we prescribe or i prescribe it to be taken once a week for 12 weeks. You could even use D3 must 60k tablets once a week for 12 weeks if you dont like the granules. Also get adequate sunlight daily. This is also important.

What is the difference between blood sugar and diabetes?
Blood sugar, or glucose, is the main sugar found in your blood. It comes from the food you eat, and is your body's main source of energy. Your blood carries glucose to all of your body's cells to use for energy. Diabetes is a disease in which your blood sugar levels are too high.

My dad is 64 years old and weighs 100kg. Can he lose weight naturally without surgery and get down to 70-80kg? Is that even possible at his age?
The golden rules of weight loss still apply: Burn more calories than you eat or drink. Eat more veggies, fruits, whole grains, fish, beans, and low-fat or fat-free dairy; and keep meat and poultry lean. Limit empty calories, like sugars and foods with little or no nutritional value.
