I'm really concerned about something I read recently regarding pigeons and lung health. It mentioned that pigeons can cause lung disease, including bronchitis and lung infections. Could you explain how this happens? Do pigeons release some kind of acid that's harmful to us when we breathe in? I'm just trying to understand why this might trigger such issues with our lungs.

Do you think a chest x-ray would still reveal any signs that my friend was a smoker, even though it's been 4 months since he quit smoking? He used to have 2 cigarettes a day. I'm really curious if any effects might still be visible.
