I'm really concerned because I'm experiencing a lot of shivering. Do you think Taxim O will help with that? I'm starting to get worried because it seems to be happening more frequently. Could you please advise me on this?

Taxim-O (Cefixime) is an antibiotic and does not directly control shivering. Shivering could indicate a fever or infection; you may need a fever reducer like paracetamol along with Taxim-O if prescribed for infection. Please consult a doctor for proper evaluation.

View allI'm really worried because I've had a fever on and off for a week, and I've been taking Dolo 650 and the Taxim antibiotic intermittently as prescribed by my doctor. He suggested I get another platelet test done, but since my last test was just under 24 hours ago, I was told I need to wait 24 hours before doing it again. For the last couple of days, I've been taking the meds continuously, and while I do feel a bit better, I'm not fully recovered. My body aches and my fever's hovering around 101. Could this possibly be dengue?
Considering your symptoms and the need for another platelet test, it is important to continue monitoring your condition closely. In case of suspected dengue fever, it is recommended to maintain hydration and rest. Additionally, you can consider taking Paracetamol 500mg for fever and body pain relief. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather with a sore throat and a cold. I'm wondering if Azithromycin or Augmentin would be better to take for this. Also, should it be for 3 days or is 5 days more effective? I'm just trying to figure out the best way to get back to feeling normal.
Azithromycin and Augmentin are both effective antibiotics. However, Azithromycin is often preferred due to its convenient once daily dosing and shorter treatment duration. I would recommend Azithromycin 500mg once daily for 3 days. This regimen is usually sufficient to treat throat infections caused by bacteria.

I'm trying to figure out the right way to give Arachitol Nano 60k solution for Vitamin D3. Should I give it before or after breakfast? If I start tomorrow, which day should be the next dose? Any advice would be great!
Based on your symptoms and test results, here's a summary and recommendations: *Summary* 1. Initial sonography showed a small prominence in the left renal pelvis. 2. CT scan was normal. 3. You experienced mild pain in the left bladder and testicles, which persisted despite treatment for a suspected stone. 4. A follow-up sonography showed an extrarenal pelvis. *Recommendations* 1. *Consult a urologist*: Schedule an appointment with a urologist to discuss your symptoms and test results. 2. *Further evaluation*: Your urologist may recommend additional tests, such as: - Intravenous Pyelography (IVP) to evaluate the urinary tract. - Retrograde Pyelography to examine the upper urinary tract. - MRI or CT urography for further imaging. 3. *Addressing testicular pain*: Your urologist will investigate the cause of the persistent testicular pain, which may be related to: - Epididymitis (inflammation of the epididymis). - Orchitis (inflammation of the testicles). - Varicocele (enlarged veins in the scrotum). 4. *Monitoring and follow-up*: Regular follow-up appointments with your urologist will help monitor your condition and adjust treatment as needed.
