I'm really concerned because I'm experiencing a lot of shivering. Do you think Taxim O will help with that? I'm starting to get worried because it seems to be happening more frequently. Could you please advise me on this?

Taxim-O (Cefixime) is an antibiotic and does not directly control shivering. Shivering could indicate a fever or infection; you may need a fever reducer like paracetamol along with Taxim-O if prescribed for infection. Please consult a doctor for proper evaluation.

View allMy dad's been dealing with a bad cough and cold, and the doctor prescribed Clavam 625mg for him, which I know has Amoxycillin. But I remember his urine test from two years ago showed he's resistant to Amoxycillin. Should I be concerned about whether this medication will actually work for him?

I'm really worried because I've been dealing with cold and fever for the past four days, and it's been on and off between 99 and 102. I saw a doctor and took antibiotics for three days, which helped me feel better in the mornings. But as the day goes by, my condition seems to worsen. The fever comes back, the coughing gets bad, and I feel extremely weak. I'm also dealing with a sore throat, throat dryness, and nasal congestion. On top of that, I can't seem to digest food properly, and either feel like vomiting or actually do. Can you tell me what I should do about this?
For the blood tests you mentioned, fasting requirements vary: - Vitamin B12: No fasting required - Vitamin D: No fasting required - CBC (Complete Blood Count): No fasting required - Thyroid function tests (TFTs): Typically, an 8-12 hour fasting period is recommended, but it's best to consult with your doctor or the laboratory for specific instructions. For hair fall problems, these tests can help identify underlying deficiencies or hormonal imbalances that may be contributing to hair loss.

I've got some body pains after playing badminton for the first time in a while. The only medicine I have at home is Dolo 650. Could taking that help with these aches?
Yes, Dolo 650 (containing 650mg of acetaminophenparacetamol) can help alleviate body pains, including muscle soreness and joint pain, caused by playing badminton after a long time,
