I'm really concerned because I've had swollen lymph nodes in areas like my thigh, elbow, and back since 2008. It's been so long and I'm not sure what to do about it. Could you please help me understand what's going on and what steps I should take?

Hello, its important to have a thorough evaluation by a healthcare provider to determine the cause of the persistent lymph nodes since 2008. Chronic lymphadenopathy can sometimes be benign, but it may also indicate an underlying condition that requires further investigation. I recommend seeing a doctor for a physical examination and possibly some tests to understand the situation better.

View allI'm really worried about my dad. He had a fever around 5 days ago, and now we've noticed his platelet count is dropping rapidly. It was 100,000, then went down to 70,000 in just a couple of days. This morning it was at 70,000, but by this evening it's fallen to 34,000. He's not showing signs of Dengue fever, so I'm concerned about what's going on. Could you help us understand what's happening?
Platelet count dropping significantly can be concerning. It is important to investigate the underlying cause. Given that your dad is not having Dengue fever, other possible causes could include infections, certain medications, autoimmune disorders, or even bone marrow issues. I would recommend consulting a hematologist for further evaluation and management. In the meantime, medications like "Wysolone" and "Azoran" may be prescribed to help increase platelet production.

I'm on the 9th day of my Dengue treatment, and my platelet count is at 36k. Everything else in my body and reports seems okay. I've been eating and drinking as much as I can to try and boost the count, but for the past two days, it's been stuck between 24k and 36k. I'm not sure what else I should do. Any advice?
it is normal

My PTT is 24.132 and PT is 19.8 with a range of 10.45-13.17, plus my INR is 1.66. What treatment can help bring these levels back to normal? Should I be concerned about these results? I'm scheduled for a minor hydrocele removal surgery is it safe to proceed with these numbers?
greetings. PTT,PT are raised thatis clotting time will be increased. It must be dueto liver problem, some hepatitis, or liver damage due to alcohol r NFLIVER damage. Please ask the hematologists. Though hernia is minor and short operation, but still ask hematologists
