I'm really curious about this routine I have. After eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just some light snacks in the evening, I almost immediately feel the need to go to the toilet. This happens every time. Plus, every morning, I find myself heading to the toilet first thing and then eating breakfast, only to have to go again. Is this something I should be worried about? What could be causing this?

Sounds like you may be experiencing a condition known as gastrocolic reflex, where eating triggers the urge to have a bowel movement. This is a normal response for many people. However, if you are having frequent bowel movements or if you are experiencing other symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, or changes in stool consistency, it may be worth discussing with your doctor. In the meantime, you can try to manage this by maintaining a healthy diet with plenty of fiber, staying hydrated, and keeping track of any specific food triggers that may be exacerbating your symptoms.

View allI just turned 17 and accidentally swallowed a jamun seed. I'm kinda freaking out about it. Do you think it's harmless, or could it be something dangerous for my health?
Don't worry, accidentally swallowing a plum seed (jamun) is generally harmless, as the seed's toxic compound, amygdalin, is released only when the seed is crushed or chewed, and the digestive system can pass the intact seed without issues; however, to be cautious, drink plenty of water and monitor your health for any unusual symptoms, and if you experience severe abdominal pain, vomiting, or diarrhea, seek medical attention.

I've been having stomach bloating since last night, and I'm not sure what's causing it. My doctor mentioned doing a chest X-ray and an IgE test. Could you help me understand how these might relate to the bloating and what they would show? I'm a bit worried about what's going on.

I've been feeling really weird and tried to make myself vomit by putting my hand in my mouth. But when I spit, I noticed some blood type saliva and felt like something was stuck in my throat. I'm seriously worried. Do you think it's because I put too much pressure on my throat, or maybe my nails caused some bleeding? There weren't large amounts of blood, just some small specks. No other health problems here, and my recent CBC was all normal. What could be causing this? Please help, I'm really scared.
