I'm really struggling with a post-nasal drip that's been giving me a sore throat for the last few days. It's making it so hard to sleep because of the pressure in my ear. I've tried stuff like Strepsils and gargling with salt water, which helps a bit but doesn't last. I've also been taking 5ml of Ambroxol Hydrochloride at night and added Ascoril LS as well as Maxtra P over the last couple of days since I thought maybe that's what's causing the sore throat. I don't have a runny nose, but I'm living in a place that gets dusty even with window filters. I'm a bit allergic too... Could all this dust and stuff be part of the problem? What else can I try for some more long-term relief?

You seem to be experiencing symptoms of post nasal drip with a sore throat, difficulty sleeping, and ear pressure. Since you have already tried some home remedies and medications, I would recommend the following treatment plan for you:
- Continue with Ambroxol Hydrochloride 5ml once every night before sleep to help with mucus clearance.
- Continue with Ascoril LS+ 5ml to help with cough and congestion.
- Switch from Maxtra P to Levocetirizine 5mg once daily to help with allergies and post nasal drip.
- Additionally, you can try using a saline nasal spray to help clear out your nasal passages.
- It's also important to address the dust in your living environment by regularly cleaning and dusting to reduce allergen exposure.
- If your symptoms persist or worsen, consider consulting with an ENT specialist for further evaluation and management. I hope this treatment plan helps alleviate your symptoms.

View allI've been having this really annoying throat irritation and my allergy AEC levels are over 700, which I'm guessing isn't great. What can I do to bring it down to normal? Are there specific foods I should be avoiding or maybe some that could help?
to help lower your AEC and reduce allergy symptoms, you should focus on managing your allergies through medications and avoiding triggers, while also incorporating an anti-inflammatory diet. Avoid foods that are high in histamine or common allergens, and try to focus on foods that support immune health and reduce inflammation. If your symptoms persist or worsen, its always best to consult with an allergist or immunologist who can guide you through proper treatment options and help with any necessary allergy tests.

I'm feeling this heaviness or pressure on the right side of my throat, like there's some pain there. There's no fever, cough, or anything like that. When I press on it, I feel something like a bean moving upward when I swallow. I only notice it when I swallow something. Could it be a gland or a tumor? If it were throat cancer, wouldn't I have a cough, fever, or other symptoms? I'm really scared. Can you tell me what the exact symptoms of throat cancer are?
