I've been dealing with this really painful and persistent issue where the inside of my right nostril is dried out and raw and it just won't heal. It's been ongoing for about 8 months now and I've even been to the ER twice. I've tried everything from antibiotics to all the natural remedies I could think of like humidifiers, ice, heat packs, vaseline, coconut oil, saline spray, pain medications, and even steam, but nothing seems to work. The pain is worse than anything I've experiencedeven worse than childbirth. I'm super worried. What else could be causing this problem?

View allI got hit pretty hard right across my head and jaw area by my partner on Friday night, and ever since, the spot has been really red, throbbing, and warm. The next day, I felt like I had cotton stuck in my ear. I tried blowing out air while holding my nose, but nothing seems to happen; no air coming out or any whistling noise from my ear. There's been no discharge, but the pain has been constant for two days now. Could this affect my hearing? I'm really worried about what could be causing all of this.
Yes there could be mini malltrauma to any part of the middle ear, better get evaluated with ENT doctor and audiometry test done as soon as possible.

There's this recurring swelling under my jaw, on the left side, that's been really worrying me. It seems to get hard and painful as it grows. Whenever I take antibiotics, the swelling decreases but never fully goes away, and it pops back up, especially after I eat non-veg food. Could this be something serious? What should I do about it?

I've been dealing with this weird ear issue for a few months now. It started with this clicking sound in my left ear only when I talked, and then I began noticing this crackling sound in both ears while yawning. Initially, the ENT said it was an Eustachian tube blockage, but there's been no pain at all. The clicking seemed to go away for a while, but now its back and feels pretty recurrent. I'm really curious and slightly worried about what might be causing this, and wondering what you think could be going on. Is it really just a blockage, or could there be something else happening? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
The recurrent clicking in your left ear, accompanied by crackling in both ears during yawning, suggests Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD), as diagnosed by your ENT specialist; to manage symptoms, try: nasal decongestants, ear drops, and exercises like the Toynbee maneuver (swallowing while pinching the nose) and Valsalva maneuver (exhaling while pinching the nose and closing the mouth), and consult your ENT specialist for further guidance and potential tympanometry testing.
