I'm really trying to watch my weight and I've heard that roti can be pretty high in calories and carbs. But as Indians, it's hard to skip it altogetherlike, having fewer than 24 roti in a meal just doesn't feel satisfying. How can I break this habit? And is switching to bread a better option for weight loss?

I'm struggling with gaining weight after completing my latent TB treatment. My height is 5.8 feet, but I only weigh 47 kg. What kind of food or diet should I focus on to help me put on some healthy weight?

In order to gain weight through muscle mass and not fat, you should eat lean meats, such as skinned chicken, preferably steamed or boiled. Include some dairy fats like paneer and cheese in your diet, but in moderate quantities. Try to eat 1-2 boiled eggs everyday, with nuts like almonds and pistachio to augment your vitamin intake. Fresh fruits and hydration are great vitality boosters. Include at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week.
