I'm really wondering if having my tonsils taken out will weaken my immunity or if there are any other side effects I should know about after the surgery. Any insights?

Removing tonsils does not significantly reduce immunity. In fact, the tonsils are part of the body's immune system, but their removal typically does not lead to a noticeable decrease in overall immunity. However, after surgery, some common side effects may include temporary pain, swelling, and difficulty swallowing. These symptoms can usually be managed with pain medication and rest.

View allI'm really concerned because I just saw an ENT doctor and she told me I have something called Melanoplakia Buccal Mucosa. What does it mean and how is it treated? Could you please give me some advice on what steps to take next?
Don't try to remove the cotton yourself, as it can push it further in. Instead, visit an ENT specialist near you. Here are some options in Palava City, Dombivili East: - *RTKL VERTIGO & ENT CLINIC* - *Trisense Ent Care* - *Dr. Pol ENT Hospital* (Dr. Uday Pol & Dr. Poonam Kshirsagar) - *Dr. Rakhi Dhotre Ear Nose Throat and Cochlear Implant Clinic* You can also search for more options and book an appointment online . Remember to explain the situation to the doctor, and they'll safely remove the cotton.

I'm curious about something. I managed to quit smoking using nicotine gums and did pretty well with it, but now I'm dealing with a sore throat, some irritation, and phlegm issues. I was using the 4mg gum, usually around 2 or 3 pieces a day, and now I just occasionally need a piece. I'm wondering if the nicotine gum could be harmful and if I should think about stopping completely?

I've been having this sinus problem that's got me worried. After I eat things like chocolates, milk products, or ice cream, I start coughing and bringing up sputum. It's like I catch a cold with chest congestion, but I don't actually have breathing issues otherwise. It's just when I consume these cold items that the coughing kicks in. Why am I experiencing these symptoms now when it wasn't a problem before?
probably your body might be allergic to any of the above items. avoud consuming it
