I'm really worried about this burning sensation I keep getting in my stomach every time I eat something. It's really uncomfortable and makes me feel uneasy. I saw a doctor, and they mentioned there's some swelling in my intestine. What could be causing this, and what should I do about it?

View allI've been really worried since I had this scary episode last night. I was sleeping when I suddenly felt like I was going to vomit, and when I did, I ended up throwing up a lot of blood. It happened four times, and the last one had a dark brown color while the others were dark red. I also had a huge coughing fit. What could be going on? Should I be concerned?

I'm really struggling with my motions. For the past month, I've needed to go at least three times a day, and it's becoming quite an issue. Since I've been going to the gym for about a year and a half, I had to up my food intake, and it seems like that's when the motion problems started. I also have a gastric problem, and even though my digestion seems fine, I just constantly feel like I need to go. It's been tough to eat because of this sensation. Can you help me figure out what's going on and what I might need to change to feel better?

I'm really curious about this routine I have. After eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just some light snacks in the evening, I almost immediately feel the need to go to the toilet. This happens every time. Plus, every morning, I find myself heading to the toilet first thing and then eating breakfast, only to have to go again. Is this something I should be worried about? What could be causing this?
Sounds like you may be experiencing a condition known as gastrocolic reflex, where eating triggers the urge to have a bowel movement. This is a normal response for many people. However, if you are having frequent bowel movements or if you are experiencing other symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, or changes in stool consistency, it may be worth discussing with your doctor. In the meantime, you can try to manage this by maintaining a healthy diet with plenty of fiber, staying hydrated, and keeping track of any specific food triggers that may be exacerbating your symptoms.
