I'm really worried about my 3.5-year-old daughter. She's been breathing through her mouth for over two years now. We saw an ENT specialist, and they mentioned her air veins are blocked. We did the whole treatment with cepodem, delcan, aerodil syrups, and nebulisation for five days. She seemed to breathe better afterward but still through her mouth. The doctor listened again and heard something that led us to get a nose X-ray. It showed she has adenoid hypertrophy, Grade 4. Theyre suggesting we consider an endoscopic debrider adenoidectomy. Im really unsure about going through with this. Are there any risks with this surgery? Can medication alone treat this, and is she too young at 3.5 for such a procedure? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm worried because I was using an earbud to clean my ear, and some of the cotton got stuck inside. I managed to pull some of it out with tweezers, but not all of it. Then I tried putting a couple of drops of Soliwax in my ear. Will this help, or should I be doing something else to ensure my ear is okay?

Using an earbud to clean your ears can push earwax deeper, and leaving cotton behind can cause irritation; attempting to remove the cotton with a plucker can also cause damage; applying Soliwax ear drops may help dissolve the remaining wax, but to ensure relief and avoid further complications, consult an ENT specialist for proper evaluation and safe earwax removal.

I'm feeling this heaviness or pressure on the right side of my throat, like there's some pain there. There's no fever, cough, or anything like that. When I press on it, I feel something like a bean moving upward when I swallow. I only notice it when I swallow something. Could it be a gland or a tumor? If it were throat cancer, wouldn't I have a cough, fever, or other symptoms? I'm really scared. Can you tell me what the exact symptoms of throat cancer are?

I have a deviated nasal septum and enlarged turbinates along with chronic sinusitis and I've been having constant face pain, headaches, and even eye and joint pain. My ENT recommended surgery but said it might not fix the headaches. Should I still consider the surgery or are there other options I can try first?

septoplasty for DNS is advised to the patient if conservative treatment is ineffective.
