I'm really worried about my brother. He's a regular smoker and has been having a morning cough, occasional breathing issues, and sometimes even chest pain. He recently got some test results back, and it seems like his hemoglobin is high, his PCV is at the upper limit, and his vitamin D is low. I'm not sure what these mean or what steps he should take next?

I've been dealing with shortness of breath for a couple of months now, and I constantly feel pain on the right side of my chest. I had a spirometry test and a chest x-ray, but everything came back normal. The doctor mentioned something about hyperreactive airways. What does that mean, and is there anything else I should be worried about or look into?

My mom's been having this persistent cough, and even though she saw a doctor who prescribed grillentus cough syrup, it hasn't really helped. I'm getting worried since it's not getting better. Do you have any suggestions for another cough syrup or something else we could try?
