I'm really worried about my dad because he's dealing with pulmonary fibrosis and is on fibrodone tablets, six a day. Lately, he's been having some rough side effectslike bad headaches, feeling like he might vomit, and he's just not hungry at all. Plus, he's on oxygen for about 15 to 16 hours every day. I checked online and saw that these might be side effects from the meds. Is it okay if he takes a break from these tablets until he feels a bit better? Are there other options out there instead of this medication? What could happen if he stops taking it for some time?

I'm going to Kuwait for a job, and I'm really worried about this mild increase in bronchovascular markings that's shown up on my chest exam. I've got a GCC GAMCA medical test coming up, and Im anxious about whether this issue might cause me to fail the test. Ive tried reaching out to different doctors, but I havent gotten a clear response. Can you let me know if this is something that will make me unfit for the job medical test?

Why am I still feeling this pain? I had a pleural effusion back in November 2017, and had thoracentesis done twice. All the tests came back negative and my doctor said it was viral. Now it's March 2018, and I'm still experiencing pain starting from my back moving up to my side and into my chest, especially when I cough, yawn, or take a deep breath. I'm really worried about why it's not getting better. Any ideas?

I'm really worried about my dad; hes been in the ICU for 12 days now with this new type of pneumonia the doctors mentioned. There's still no improvement in his condition, and hes on a ventilator to support his breathing. It all started with a cough and a fever, so we thought it was swine flu and took him to the hospital, but the swine flu test was negative, and his heart seems fine. But hes still struggling to breathe normally. They said something about fluid in his oxygen pathways or possibly ARDS. Im really confused and unsure of what to do next, and I could send you his medical reports and prescriptions if that helps. Any advice would be really appreciated.
