I'm really worried about my mom who's 89 and dealing with a leaky heart valve. Every couple of months, she gets shortness of breath and ends up in the hospital. Theyve given her a diuretic for the foot swelling and fluid in her lungs, but I'm really anxious to know what her life expectancy might be like with this condition at her age. Can you shed some light on this?

View allI'm getting ready for my aviation medical, and I had an ECG done. The report showed ST segment elevation in the anterior, large T waves, and it said "borderline ECG." I'm 20 years old, weigh 82kg, and I'm 176cm tall. Should I be worried about any of these findings? What do they really mean, especially with my age and size?
Based on the ECG findings of ST segment elevation (anterior), large T wave, and borderline ECG, along with your age, weight, and height, it is important to further evaluate these findings. These ECG changes could indicate various conditions such as myocardial infarction, myocarditis, pericarditis, or other cardiac issues. I recommend consulting with a cardiologist for a thorough evaluation and appropriate management. In the meantime, it is important to avoid strenuous physical activity and follow a heart-healthy diet. Medications such as aspirin, nitroglycerin, and beta-blockers may be prescribed based on further evaluation by your cardiologist.

I'm 16 years old and have been having this chest pain on the left side along with a racing heart for a few months now. I got an echo test done, and it showed mild mitral regurgitation, but no other abnormalities or pathology. Is this something serious? Should I be worried or do anything specific about it?
no nothing will happen.

I'm a bit worried about some stuff I've been experiencing. Sometimes when I talk loudly, I feel this pain in my chest. I usually masturbate maybe twice or thrice a month, often while watching porn or imagining naked women, and that always made my heart race. Recently, I've tried to stop watching but still experience the pain whenever I shout. Could there be a link between these things, or should I be concerned about the pain when speaking loudly?
ecg and cardiac markers for evaluation f your chest pain is advised..
