I'm really worried about my sister because her ESR blood count is higher than normal, it's 70. She's 36 and also dealing with a lot of itching. What do you think she should do? Could you help us figure this out?

Your sister's elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) along with itching can indicate inflammation or infection in her body. It is important for her to consult a doctor for further evaluation and proper diagnosis. In the meantime, she can take an antihistamine like Cetirizine 10mg once daily to help with the itching. Additionally, she can use a soothing lotion like Calamine lotion on the affected areas. Make sure she stays hydrated and avoids scratching to prevent any skin damage.

I've been on medication for the past couple of weeks, but I still have this nagging pain in my chest and the areas around it. They detected BONE TB for me on April 24th. I've been experiencing severe pain in my chest and back, and it's been really hard to move. The doctors suspected Bone TB after running some tests and doing a CT scan. They confirmed it with an FCNA test. I actually had a similar issue back in 1992, and I had surgery for it, but it was resolved and everything was fine after that. I'm just worried about why the pain is still here despite the treatment, and if there's something else I should be doing or considering? Would appreciate any advice.

Despite 15 days of medication, persistent chest and surrounding area pain, along with a confirmed diagnosis of bone TB through CT scan and FCNA test, warrants a review of your treatment plan

My wife recently went to the doctor because she's been having some joint pain. She's only 33, and the doctor recommended a CBP test and an ESR test. The results show her Total WBC Count is 11200, her absolute lymphocyte count is 4480, and her ESR is 22. I did a bit of research online and found out that a high WBC count could be alarming and might even indicate cancer. Are these results something we should be really worried about? Do they suggest anything serious we should be aware of?

Thats not at all related to cancer,it signifies acute microbial infection no need to worry and donot over think, follow your doctors advice

I'm worried because my blood test showed high uric acid levels. Should I book an appointment with a general physician, or do I need to see an MD specializing in this?
