I'm really worried about my sister. She's got these small warts on her neck and face, and they seem to be spreading to her chest and armpits. Sometimes they itch, but not always. She's tried using pure turmeric mixed with neem and potato juice, but nothing's really worked. Now she's been using Dettol and says that the burning feeling she had at first isn't there anymore. Do you think it's okay for her to keep using Dettol to get rid of the warts? If you have any other home remedy ideas, that would be great because she's not into the idea of laser treatment and it's really causing her some pain. Any advice?

I've got a boil on my arm and I'm worried it's MRSA because I've dealt with that in the past. I visited the doctor, and they prescribed mupirocin ointment for me, but they said to put it in my nose. I'm a bit confused because the instructions say it's not meant for intranasal use. Do you think I should follow the doctor's advice even though the ointment is labeled for external use?

Mupirocin ointment is indeed meant for external use only and should not be used intranasally, as mentioned in the instructions. If you have concerns about using it in your nose, it would be best to clarify with your doctor or seek a second opinion. For the boil on your arm, your doctor may prescribe oral antibiotics such as Bactrim or Clindamycin to treat MRSA infections.

I'm 20 and I've been using Skin Lite cream, and it made my face fair for the first couple of days, but then I started noticing some side effects. My face doesn't have pimples or acne, but it's turned really dark, and no other products seem to be helping. I'm getting worried and not sure what to do. Could you please give me some advice on how to deal with this?

It sounds like you may be experiencing skin discoloration and hyperpigmentation as a side effect of using the skin lite cream. To help improve the darkening of your face, you can try using a skin lightening cream containing hydroquinone, kojic acid, and glycolic acid. One option is "Melalite XL cream" which can be applied once at night for a few weeks. Additionally, using a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day with at least SPF 30 is essential to prevent further darkening of the skin. Make sure to consult a dermatologist for a proper evaluation and personalized treatment plan.

I've been dealing with some intense itching in my buttcrack for the last few days, and it's becoming pretty uncomfortable. It feels like I've scratched so much that there's almost a crack forming because of it. This has happened to me before, and I've found that using oil helps to soothe the itch. It's working a bit this time too, but the relief isn't lasting because if I scratch again, it just comes back. Any idea why this keeps happening and what else I can try to get rid of it?

You may be experiencing a case of fungal infection such as jock itch. I recommend using an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole 1% cream. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area twice a day for 2-4 weeks. Additionally, keeping the area clean and dry, wearing loose cotton underwear, and avoiding tight clothing can help prevent further irritation. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a doctor for further evaluation and management.
