I'm really worried about this ongoing Motor neuron disease hes been dealing with for about six months now. The fact that he can't walk and has lost movement in both of his hands is really concerning. Can you help me understand why this is happening and what options we might have for treatment or improving his situation?

View allI've been diagnosed with a slipped disc at L4 L5 S1 and have a lot of pain, especially shooting down my left leg. My doctor prescribed neorelax mr 8, gabanuron od, and gemcal along with exercises twice a day and ice packs. Will this treatment actually help me recover or should I consider surgery for this issue
Slip disc treatment with medications and physiotherapy may help; surgery is for cases with severe nerve compression or no improvement after 6–8 weeks.

My dad had a paralysis attack a few days ago and they've found a brain clot because his BP was super high, up at 212. He's paralyzed now, can't speak, and his right hand isn't working. He's in the hospital, but I'm really worried if this is going to be his reality forever or if there's a chance he could recover and lead a normal life again. What can we do to help his recovery? I've got his MRI reports too, but I can only send one image due to app restrictions. What should our next steps be?
we can get a proper conclution only after seeing mri report stroke recovery can be very positive, especially with good medical care and rehabilitation.
