I'm really worried about this swelling and pain I've been having in my lower rib cage for about a month now. It's pretty uncomfortable and sometimes I even feel a burning sensation. Occasionally, the pain seems to spread to my stomach. I've had some blood tests and an ultrasound, but they didn't show anything abnormal. Could you please help me understand what's going on?

It sounds like the pain in your lower rib cage could be related to muscle strain, costochondritis (inflammation of the rib cartilage), or digestive issues like acid reflux. Since your tests were normal, it might be worth monitoring your posture, stress levels, and diet, and if the pain persists, consulting a doctor for further evaluation.

View allI'm trying to figure out the best timing for my dad's medication. He's been taking tablets like AB Phylline after meals and Montek BL before eating for his cold, but lately, he's been dealing with stomach bloating and some pain. Could these issues be side effects from the meds? Just want to make sure we're doing this right.
take montec after food only, before food take one antacid

I used to eat really late around 11 pm and go straight to bed. Lately, I've been waking up with my head spinning, sweating a lot, and my whole body feels like it's shivering with pain. One time, I even threw up and after that, I felt normal again. I'm really scared because my blood pressure and sugar levels are all normal. What could be causing this?
It sounds like you experienced a sudden and intense reaction, possibly from low blood sugar or dehydration, even though your BP and sugar levels seem fine. It's good that you felt better after vomiting, but if this continues, it might be worth checking in with a doctor to rule out any underlying issues. Stay hydrated and avoid eating too late.

I had laparoscopic surgery for a hiatus hernia a few weeks ago and I'm wondering when I can safely start going back to the gym and working out again
around 4-6 weeks.
