I'm really worried about these rashes that have appeared on my hands, legs, and scalp. They're big and cause a lot of itching and redness. My scalp is also itching, and I've noticed my hair's been falling out. It seems to flare up mostly in the morning and evening. What could be causing this?

The symptoms you're describing, such as big rashes, itching, redness, and hair falling, could be indicative of an allergic reaction, skin condition, or other underlying health issue.
Possible Causes
- Allergic Contact Dermatitis: An allergic reaction to substances like soaps, detergents, metals, or plants.
- Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema): A chronic skin condition characterized by dry, itchy, and inflamed skin.
- Seborrheic Dermatitis: A skin condition causing scaly, itchy, and red patches on the scalp, face, and other areas.
- Psoriasis: An autoimmune condition causing red, scaly, and itchy patches on the skin.
- Fungal or Bacterial Infections: Infections like ringworm, impetigo, or folliculitis can cause rashes, itching, and redness.
Timing of Symptoms
The fact that your symptoms worsen in the morning and evening suggests that they might be triggered by:
- Temperature changes: Changes in temperature and humidity can exacerbate skin conditions.
- Soap or detergent use: Harsh soaps or detergents can strip the skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness and irritation.
- Clothing or fabric irritation: Certain fabrics, dyes, or finishes can cause skin irritation.
What to Do Next
- Consult a dermatologist: Schedule an appointment with a dermatologist to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms.
- Keep a symptom journal: Track your symptoms, including when they occur, to help identify potential triggers.
- Avoid harsh soaps and detergents: Switch to gentle, fragrance-free cleansers and laundry detergents.
- Apply moisturizers and topical creams: Use over-the-counter moisturizers and hydrocortisone creams to help soothe and calm the skin.
- Avoid scratching: Try to resist scratching, as this can further irritate the skin and lead to infection.

View allI'm struggling with acne and I've heard that milk could be a factor. Could you suggest an alternative to normal milk that might help with my skin? Also, what type of milk would you recommend for someone dealing with acne issues? Would love some guidance on this!
For acne-prone skin, consider switching to low-hormone, non-dairy milk alternatives like almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk, which are naturally rich in antioxidants and less likely to trigger hormonal breakouts; among dairy options, goat's milk or A2 cow's milk may be better tolerated due to their unique protein structures and lower hormone levels.

I'm 16 and my face looks small compared to my body since I'm 5'11. Is there any natural way to make my face appear bigger without using makeup or surgery?
Facial bone growth stops after puberty; appearance may be enhanced with grooming, posture, or cosmetic fillers—not surgery at your age.

I'm really worried about my hair. I've noticed Ive lost about 50% of it, and the area where I part my hair is looking much wider now. Could this be telogen effluvium, and if it is, what can I do to encourage hair regrowth and stop it from thinning further?
