I'm really worried because doctors are suggesting that I need to have my finger amputated due to gangrene. I'm terrified of going through with it and was wondering if there's any chance it can be treated without amputation. Are there other methods out there, like ayurveda or alternative treatments, that could help? Any advice would be really appreciated.

- Enhanced peripheral pulse: Increased blood flow or vessel stiffness.
- Anxiety or stress: Amplifying bodily sensations.
- Low blood pressure: Decreased vascular resistance.
- Dehydration or electrolyte imbalance.

View allI'm really worried about my mom. She's been dealing with these varicose wounds for the last three months, and they come with crazy itching and burning sensations. The Doppler scan showed mildly dilated long saphenous veins due to an incompetent sapheno-femoral junction and a few incompetent perforators. Luckily, there's no sign of deep venous thrombosis, but still, it sounds serious to me. She's taking medications like OCID DSR, Gabamax Gold, CALDOB, and Ecosprin. I'm just trying to understand how severe this condition is and how long it might take for her to fully recover. Are there any specific precautions or recommendations we should follow to help her heal faster? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I'm really concerned about something and need some advice. A few months ago, after a hospital stay, the nurse removed the drip syringe from my hand, and they said the vein swelling would disappear in a few days. But it's been over 4 months now, and my vein is still swollen. Sometimes it hurts, and my hand often feels like it's going numb. Could you suggest what I should do next and which type of specialist I should see?
Consuming water stored overnight in a copper vessel is a traditional Ayurvedic practice believed to have health benefits. Copper has antimicrobial properties, which can help purify water. You can continue this practice 365 days a year, including during the rainy season. However, ensure the copper vessel is clean and dry before filling it with water. Also, change the water daily to avoid bacterial growth. Regularly polish the copper vessel to maintain its antimicrobial properties.

I've just had surgery for my varicose veins, and after finding out about them, I quit using tobacco altogether. Before the surgery, I was pretty into marijuana, and I'm wondering if I start using it again, but without any tobacco, could that worsen my vein issues?
It's great that you've quit tobacco, as it helps your recovery. Using marijuana without tobacco might not directly aggravate varicose veins, but smoking of any kind can impact circulation and healing. It's best to avoid it entirely to promote long-term vein health.
