I'm really worried because during my GAMMCA medical checkup for the Gulf, a scar showed up on my chest x-ray. The doctor mentioned that this doesn't align with the Gulf medical council's rules, but also said I don't have any health issues from it. Is there any way to get rid of the scar with medication? I'm really hoping it wont affect my chances. Any advice?

A chest scar seen on an X-ray is usually due to a past infection, like tuberculosis, and cannot be removed with medicine as it is permanent lung tissue damage. However, you can consult a pulmonologist for a second opinion or additional tests to rule out active issues.

View allI'm trying to understand the readings on my oximeter. Sometimes, within 5 seconds, it shows a reading of 97 or 98, but other times it takes 15 or 20 seconds to give a reading. Also, it occasionally shows a very low value like 90 at first and then jumps to 96 or 97 after a few seconds. On the flip side, it might start at 98 and then go down. I'm seeing a range from 90 to 98. Is this kind of fluctuation normal? Which reading should I actually consider? Would appreciate any insight into this!
while you use pulse oximeter, record for few minutes and then consider the value which is recorded after 1 min

I'm having a hard time breathing and feel like I need to open my mouth every now and then just to catch a breath. It's weird because my breathing seems normal when I'm sleeping, but it's like something's blocking my throat. I don't have a fever or body aches, but my chest feels heavy and I've got this gassy feeling too. I tried holding my breath for 30 seconds and it was fine, but I still need to take deep breaths through my mouth, and even then, it doesn't feel quite right. What could be going on?

I've been experiencing breathing problems ever since the first wave of COVID. My hemoglobin levels are normal, my oxygen level is at 98, and an X-ray indicates I have chronic bronchitis. Is there any way to cure this permanently? I've never smoked or even tried it, so I'm really confused about what's causing this. Can you help me understand what's going on and if there's a long-term solution?
Salbutamol inhaler and budesonide 200 sos is advised for breathing difficulty.
