I'm really worried because I've been coughing for two weeks now, and it's getting to the point where sometimes when I cough really hard, it completely blocks my throat and I can't breathe. It's scary, and on top of that, I've actually thrown up what I've just eaten a few times. I already saw a general doctor, but the meds they gave me aren't doing anything. Can you tell me which specialist I should talk to about this?

My mom has allergic bronchitis, and I'm really worried about how this might impact her daily life and overall health. With proper treatment, can she expect to live a normal life? Will this condition shorten her lifespan? I hope this isn't something that's directly life-threatening.

I'm dealing with acute bronchitis pretty often. It usually kicks off with a sore throat and then escalates to bronchitis, complete with mucus buildup in my chest and all that. I typically skip medication and just let it run its course, which takes about a week or two. I'm really wondering if this could be harming my lungs, though. Should I be considering medication instead?
