I'm really worried because I've been dealing with cold and fever for the past four days, and it's been on and off between 99 and 102. I saw a doctor and took antibiotics for three days, which helped me feel better in the mornings. But as the day goes by, my condition seems to worsen. The fever comes back, the coughing gets bad, and I feel extremely weak. I'm also dealing with a sore throat, throat dryness, and nasal congestion. On top of that, I can't seem to digest food properly, and either feel like vomiting or actually do. Can you tell me what I should do about this?

For the blood tests you mentioned, fasting requirements vary:
- Vitamin B12: No fasting required
- Vitamin D: No fasting required
- CBC (Complete Blood Count): No fasting required
- Thyroid function tests (TFTs): Typically, an 8-12 hour fasting period is recommended, but it's best to consult with your doctor or the laboratory for specific instructions.
For hair fall problems, these tests can help identify underlying deficiencies or hormonal imbalances that may be contributing to hair loss.

View allI'm curious about the long-term effects of working night shifts. I've been at it for over three years, and I've read that it can cause physical health issues over time. Is that true? If so, how serious can these problems get? Also, are there any specific precautions I can take to minimize these health risks?

I'm suddenly experiencing chills in the afternoons and at night for the past two days, but I don't have a fever. My diet and activities are normal, except when the shivering hits; it lasts about fifteen minutes. What medication can I take today? I'm planning to see a doctor tomorrow. What should I do in the meantime?
provide warm temperatures

I'm covid negative now, but I was experiencing mild symptoms. It's been about 4 days since my quarantine ended, and I'm feeling better. However, my nose is still blocked. Is it okay for me to use a Vicks inhaler to help with this?
