I've been advised by one of the doctors to take a multivitamin called az Ns tablet every day after dinner, and a vitamin D tablet once a month. I'm just wondering, is this really beneficial for my health, or should I be considering a different multivitamin?

Yes, once daily, you can take for 3 months. Excess vitamin will be harmful.

I've been having a fever for the past three days and it's really starting to worry me. On top of that, I've been dealing with some serious stomach issueslike a lot of gas and stomach achesover the last couple of days. Its all leaving me feeling super weak, almost like I'm having fits. Could you help me figure out what's going on and what I should do?

It sounds like you may be experiencing a gastrointestinal infection along with fever and weakness. I recommend taking Acetaminophen for fever (e.g. Tylenol) and Simethicone for excessive gas (e.g. Gas-X). Additionally, you can take an antacid for stomach ache (e.g. Tums) and make sure to stay hydrated. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please seek medical attention.

I've been keeping track of my symptoms since I caught covid. Initially, I had a high fever of around 102 for the first three days, but now it's settled to about 99 over the last 48 hours. My Spo2 levels are at 99, and I have a bit of a cough, though it's not too bad. Since today marks my 7th day, I'm wondering if it's necessary for me to start taking Medrol. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hydration and rest: Keep yourself hydrated and rest adequately to help your immune system fight the virus. Symptom management: Continue with medications like paracetamol for fever or any prescribed cough syrups or other symptom relievers. Follow-up: Regularly monitor your SpO2 levels (especially if symptoms worsen), and if you're unsure about needing steroids, contact your doctor.

So, my friend's nail accidentally scratched me and now there's some blood. Should I be worried about an infection from this scratch?

If the scratch breaks the skin and draws blood, there is a risk of infection. It is important to clean the area thoroughly with soap and water. You can apply an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment like Neosporin to prevent infection. Keep the area covered with a bandage until it heals. If you notice any signs of infection such as increased redness, swelling, warmth, or drainage of pus, you should seek medical attention.
