I'm really worried because I've been dealing with loose motion for the past couple of days. I took Metroquin this morning and again tonight, but it doesn't seem to be helping at all. Is there anything else I should try, or do I need to wait longer for it to work? Also, is there something specific in my diet that I should be avoiding or eating to help with this?

Metroquin is a combination of Metronidazole and Diloxanide. Since the issue persists, I recommend adding a probiotic to help restore the balance of good bacteria in your gut. You can try taking Enterogermina capsule once a day for 3-5 days. Additionally, make sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids and consider a light diet.

View allI've been having this dull chest pain for about two weeks now, and I can't shake the worry. It's mostly on the left side and sometimes comes with numbness and pain in my left arm and shoulder. Plus, I notice it more after doing any physical activity. On another note, I've been having green stools for the last couple of days, along with bloating, gas, and constipation. I even tried taking Dulcoflex, but it just resulted in watery green stools. I had two ECGs done, and both were normal, so my cardiologist thinks its unlikely to be a heart condition. I'm also dealing with obesity, gallstones, and kidney stones, and I've been on meds for acidity and muscle pain for a couple of weeks without any relief. Im not sure what I should do next. Should I see a gastroenterologist or stick with the cardiologist? I'm really confused about what these symptoms could mean. What do you suggest I do next?
That could be gastritis, take antacids and consume bland diet and more water to ease your stomach and take adequate rest

I've been on Flagyl 400 for the past three days after my gastroenterologist prescribed it, but now my sore throat's gotten worse, especially when I eat. Could this be because of the Flagyl? What should I do about the sore throat?
no sore throat is not a side effect of flagyl

I've been dealing with some digestive changes since my laparoscopic cholecystectomy a month ago. Now, every morning I'm usually going to the bathroom twice or even three times. What I find odd is that the first stool looks normal, but after I eat, the second one that comes out quickly, like within 15 or 20 minutes, is whitish. I recently got my liver profile checked, and my bilirubin is a bit high at 1.1 because of higher indirect bilirubin, and my ALT is 66. Although my appetite is good and digestion seems okay, I take Enzar Forte once at night after eating. I also have been taking Pan D in the morning on an empty stomach since being diagnosed with chronic gastritis from an endoscopy. Should I be worried about these symptoms? Is it something serious, or maybe related to my recent surgery?
-Your symptoms might be related to bile flow changes after gallbladder removal, which can sometimes cause variations in stool color and frequency. The slightly elevated bilirubin and ALT could warrant monitoring but don't seem alarming with your current d
